ABOUT THE CLIENT
Molėtų krašto muziejus is one of Lithuania’s most distinctive regional cultural institutions, bringing together 10 museum branches and cultural sites across the Molėtai region. Its exceptionally diverse network spans art, history, architecture, nature and traditional crafts, making it an important centre for preserving and promoting the region’s cultural heritage. Through exhibitions, educational programmes and cultural initiatives, the museum connects historical traditions with contemporary culture, strengthens regional identity and plays an active role in Lithuania’s wider cultural landscape.
DELIVERABLES - LOGO DESIGN & VISUAL IDENTITY SYSTEM
The new visual identity was developed around the concept of a key to culture, inspired by the historic key symbol found in the Molėtai coat of arms. A distinctive logo combines the letter M with a stylised key, creating a recognisable connection between regional heritage and contemporary design. The dynamic logo system incorporates different colours, textures and graphic elements, allowing each of the museum’s departments to express its individual character while maintaining a unified visual identity. Designed as a flexible communication system, the identity extends across exhibitions, signage, promotional materials, merchandise and souvenirs, creating a distinctive and cohesive visual presence across the museum’s diverse activities.
